Motivational Moments 1: Where You Need to Be

Its the small things in life that really can get you thinking about your actions.

Hopefully this will be motivational to you to keep the course with God today. Here is my mini testimony.   I saw this printer at Target on a Friday. It was perfect for my business, but it was too costly. The original price was $170 and it was on sale for $90. Though it was a great deal, it wasnโ€™t in the budget. So I left it hoping I could get it cheaper on Amazon. When I checked Amazon the price was even higher. I really needed a printer so I prayed about it.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ On Tuesday morning I was going to check some secondhand places but pulled back because I...

25 Indoor Kids Activities

Rainy day? Snowed in? Here are some great activities both you and the kids will enjoy.

With hurricane Matthew approaching Florida’s shores, I realized that I needed to prepare. Part of those preparations include having the kids home for a couple of unscheduled days, with the possibility of no power or running water, and definitely no outside play time. So, I went on my Pinterest and quickly found some indoor kids activities to keep the kids entertained. Here is what made my list… 1.ย Balloon Ping Pong:ย  2 paper plates, 2 popsicle sticks, some string, and a balloon can be so much fun. 2. I noticed how different they played from mine. In turn what they were getting in trouble for. I found myself disagreeing or agreeing with their parenting skills . “I wouldn’t punish him for that” or “go mom he deserved...

My First Award: The Liebster Award

Guess what?! Jessica from Squishy Face Collection has given me the Liebster Award! Thank you Jessica!!! The Liebster awardย  is given by new bloggers to other new bloggers. There are some bloggers that think it’s just a chain letter and shouldn’t be recognized, but I love it because someone took time to recognize me when there are so many other blogs out there to choose from. This means I have had an impact on at least one person! It is always great to hear ‘good job!’ every now and then, especially since we can be so hard on ourselves and our work. And, I made a new friend! It also...

Oh budgeting, how I have fallen in, out, and back in love with you. Budgeting is one of those things that can really be frustrating until you can get it right. The purpose of budgeting is to know where every cent is going at all times.ย  Not every budgeting tool is perfect for everyone since we all think differently.
