Reflections: Do you believe?

What a week! It has been jam packed. We started school for the kids on Monday and we are trying to shake that summer slowness off. I am trying to get things running nice and smooth but it’s not looking like it yet. I almost forgot I had to pick up my daughter on Monday. Haha! It’s only been a single week… I’m sure in a few weeks things will get into rhythm. The nights have been as packed as the mornings (and afternoons). On Wednesday night I had church and that’s where this topic came to mind. I wasn’t planning to write about it just yet but the events...

Organize My Life: School Routine Time Savers

School is about to start and I am excited!! This is the first time that I will have all 3 children out of the house on a weekly basis at the same time! Neo is entering 1st grade this year . Sarah is entering Pre-K, and she is beyond excited to be going to school. And we decided to put Ana in a two day program so she doesn’t feel left out. Do’s of Blogging for First Time Bloggers

I have been blogging for 7 months now. My head has been at times overwhelmed and at others empty. I have had some successes and some low points as well. It has been a fight for me to figure out what comes first, the blog or a job/career.  I was battling between restarting my real estate career, getting a full-time job, or turning blogging into a business.  Real estate is in my heart, and the simplest conversation about it gets...

Father’s Day Is for Fathers

Yesterday I saw this ad for Angel Soft wishing single moms a Happy Father’s Day. It is a beautiful ad. There are definitely some heartfelt emotions in this ad. Having been raised by a single mom myself I understand where those emotions come from. I, too, used to celebrate my mother on Father’s Day because she was all I had. She did it all! But she could not be that father figure that I needed in my life. Now, seeing my husband with our children I understand that Father’s Day is for fathers. I could never replace my husband and his love for our kids. He interacts with them completely different than I do....
